The fabric is quick-drying, moisture-wicking and breathable, and it also includes a Scent-Blocking Anti-Microbial technology to keep bacteria from growing, preventing any odors that might tip off your prey.

Any problems? First, it’s one-size-fits-all, limiting whom it will fit. If you have an exceptionally large head, it probably won’t. And it also cannot be machine-washed, as the fabric and leaves would come off in the washer, ruining it and making you stand out to your target.

So, if it fits you and you don’t feel the need to wash it, it’s a fantastic 3D facemask that will break up your outline, keep you concealed, and keep the sun off your face.

North Mountain Gear makes good hunting equipment, and this Ambush mask is no different. Besides being very affordable, it’s also a high-quality mask that does an excellent job at breaking up your outline and helping you blend into the terrain around you. It has a breathable micro-mesh netting that lets you breathe and stay cool and dry in hot weather, and elastic so it can stretch and conform to your face.

It is one size fits all, and comes in two colors – Green Tan, and Green Brown Tan. They are both meant to work in conjunction with North Mountain Gear’s 3D Leafy Suit; life-like leaves that blend in and move just like the real thing.

The material can be a bit shiny at times, reflecting the sun, which can obviously take away from the camouflage effect. It’s also quite thin and perhaps a bit cheap – the downside of being breathable mesh.

But otherwise, this is a great choice for a breathable, 3D leafy facemask. It’s so inexpensive, you could probably grab two or three and have a selection to choose from.

Another great mask, this one from DecoyPro is a bit different. It doesn’t offer any 3D printed leaves for camouflage effect, but does have a super-breathable, cool, quick-drying mesh fabric that will keep your cool and won’t fog your glasses up. It is one-size fits all.

The DecoyPro Face Mask also boasts an extended neckline, which ensures your entire neck is covered so as not to reveal any skin and can be tucked into your jacket for a smooth look.

Our only complaint is again, that the fabric is a little bit thin. This makes it nice and cool but does make us question its durability.

Honestly, this mask is great. It doesn’t have as many features or the 3d leafiness that helps blend into the terrain and foliage, but is a simple, straightforward mask that will keep you cool and covert.

Another mask from QuickCamo, this one combines a ball cap with a camo facemask to create a versatile covering for both your head and face. The face mask drapes down over your neck, and covers your ears, to provide all-around protection, and the fabric is UV-resistant add a layer of protection from sunburn. And while it doesn’t have any 3D leaves, the Mossy Oak camo is designed to break up your shape and help you blend in.

It uses the same breathable, quick-drying stretchy fabric as QuickCamo’s other masks, combined with Scent Bandit Anti-Microbial technology to ensure it never smells from sweat and wears. Furthermore, it comes in different sizes – unlike most others.

This is a great cap all-around, but we don’t the mask design. It just kind of hangs there, flopping around in front of your face. It would be better if it had some kind of way to stay tight and secure in place, as opposed to just flopping around uselessly. The upside to this, of course, is that it remains super cool.

Other than that, a good choice if you’d like a loose ball cap, as opposed to a tighter, face-hugging mask.

One common gripe with this facemask is that it is one-size-fits-all, which means that it is a bit tight and small on larger heads. This can make it uncomfortable for many and much hotter than looser fitting masks.

But with that said, how can you really complain when this mask is this affordable? It’s a versatile, breathable facemask that covers your whole face warm in the winter and helps you stay concealed.
